> **Historical archive — Fall 2025.** This page was published in 2026 from Purdue, organizer, founder, and team sources.

The Fall 2025 competition selected **10 standout venture concepts** from a field Purdue said included **120 teams and nearly 250 students**. The finalists were publicly announced before the December 10 final in this [organizer post](https://www.linkedin.com/posts/kostas-grigoriou_the-stage-is-set-finalists-announced-join-activity-7404173032941850624-yXRe).

## What the Top 10 were building

Purdue's current competition archive now records the Fall 2025 concepts themselves. Among the non-Top-3 finalists, **Circle** addressed university STEM learning and retention with course-level AI contextual intelligence and intervention; **Metis** focused on helping organizations train employees to adopt AI tools through sandboxed simulations designed to reduce regulatory risk; and **Synq** focused on developer visibility and merge-conflict reduction.

One source discrepancy is worth preserving rather than silently resolving: the organizer's finalist announcement names **Evgenia Vorozhbit and Denis Vorozhbit** for LyoOptic, while Purdue's later competition archive names **Denis Vorozhbit and Jane Vorozhbit**. The [LyoOptic profile](/blog/lyooptic-burton-d-morgan-finalist-fall-2025) records both source versions.

## The final event
