Purdue's Spring 2025 competition selected **10 finalists** from **56 teams and 125 students** after a nine-week process.

## Top 3 finalists and winners

The organizer's public results recap identified:

1. **Corin Tuinstra and John Lucas** — first place, addressing inefficiencies in trade-finance infrastructure
2. **Edgar Babajanyan and Lewis Polansky** — second place, using AI to reduce time spent in finance data pipelines and reporting
3. **Levi Reyes Premer and Mark O'Donnell III** — third place, reducing residential-electrification costs through data-driven load shifting

## Other standout finalists

The seven other finalists each received a **$3,000 Standout Concept prize** according to the public results recap:

- **Amit Manchella and Aditya Naidu** — automating complex workflows and repetitive diligence for investment-banking analysts
- **Shambhavi Adkar, Tong En Sim, and Mahee Jain** — personalized women's wellness across life stages

## Special-prize winners

Purdue's current competition archive also records three **$1,000** special awards from the Spring 2025 final:

- **Best Customer Discovery:** Kenneth Halls — helping schools and teachers incorporate engaging learning experiences with 3D-printing solutions
- **Most Creative Concept:** Dalton Aaker — improving cognitive performance and focus for knowledge workers in noisy environments
- **Most Innovative Concept:** Khushi Choksi, Hannah Margulis, and Elan Smyla — improving on-field early concussion detection for athletes with a software solution

These special awards are separate from the Top 10 finalist placements above.

## Final event
