Grant of Rights

By signing this form, I (“Participant”) grant buildpurdue, its officers, members, successors, and authorized representatives a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, non-exclusive, irrevocable license to use, reproduce, edit, modify, adapt, publish, distribute, and display my name, likeness, image, voice, statements, and any content captured during the recording described above (“Content”) in any media and format, whether now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to:

• Social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Facebook, X/Twitter, and others)
• The buildpurdue website (buildpurdue.org)
• Email newsletters and marketing communications
• Promotional materials (digital and print)
• Presentations and educational materials
• Derivative works, including but not limited to: edited clips, highlight reels, thumbnails, quote graphics, transcriptions, and any other reformatted versions of the Content

Editing and Use Rights

I acknowledge and agree that buildpurdue may edit, crop, remix, excerpt, or otherwise modify the Content at its discretion. buildpurdue is not required to use the Content in its entirety and may use any portion of the Content for any purpose described in this form.

No Approval Required

I waive any right to inspect, review, or approve the final version of the Content or any derivative works before they are published or distributed. I understand that buildpurdue may publish or distribute the Content without providing me advance notice or seeking my approval.

No Compensation

I acknowledge that my participation is voluntary and that I will receive no financial compensation, royalties, or other payment for the use of my likeness, voice, statements, or any Content captured during the recording, regardless of the manner or extent of its use.

Content Removal Requests

I understand that I may submit a request to have specific Content featuring me removed by emailing buildp@purdue.edu with a description of the Content and the reason for my request. I acknowledge that buildpurdue will review all removal requests in good faith, but that the decision to remove, modify, or retain any Content is at buildpurdue's sole discretion and is not guaranteed.
