What the Top 10 were building

Purdue's current competition archive now records the Fall 2025 concepts themselves. Among the non-Top-3 finalists, Circle addressed university STEM learning and retention with course-level AI contextual intelligence and intervention; Metis focused on helping organizations train employees to adopt AI tools through sandboxed simulations designed to reduce regulatory risk; and Synq focused on developer visibility and merge-conflict reduction.

One source discrepancy is worth preserving rather than silently resolving: the organizer's finalist announcement names Evgenia Vorozhbit and Denis Vorozhbit for LyoOptic, while Purdue's later competition archive names Denis Vorozhbit and Jane Vorozhbit. The LyoOptic profile records both source versions.
